Chickens go to Gogos Program

One hundred and eighty five gogos or grandmothers, will receive three chickens each after AUD$1780 was raised in donations.

FOCHTA’s gogos program (grandmother groups) gives these vitally important women peer support in their struggle to care for orphaned grandchildren. Activities include helping others in their communities and supporting them in income generating activities such as keeping chickens.
